What should I bring to closing?

Everyone always asks me what they need to bring to the closing table when purchasing a home.
Buyers have spent weeks preparing the loan, sending documents, re-sending documents, answering questions, and all of a sudden...

It's time to go to the closing table!

The down payment has been wired, the sellers, the mortgage broker and the closing attorney are all ready to go, and - what do the buyers need to bring?!?!

DRIVERS LICENSE!!!

Every buyer must bring a picture ID to prove he or she is the person contracted to purchase the house.

It is surprising, in the hustle and bustle of preparing to move and having to rush out to the closing table, how many people forget their ID!!

Even if you are not the one driving to the closing, please remember to bring your license when going to close on a home!

If you are ready to buy or sell, I can help!

Preparing to Sell. Tips for Sellers!

ENTRANCE!! ENTRANCE!!  ENTRANCE!!

The entrance ro your home is the buyers first impression!!  It must look inviting and welcoming.
No wood rot, no dead plants, no spider webs, no peeling paint, no rusty railings, no broken doorbells and no clutter!

The entrance begins to form the feelings for the rest of the house as the buyer crosses the threshold.

It must be awesome!!

Statistics suggest that as many as 61% of buyers drive by a home before arranging a tour and poor curb appeal may prevent potential buyers from even wanting to look at your home.

So, before you put your house on the market, take a look at your entrance and consider whether it is welcoming, neat and clean.  Once you are sure that a buyer would want to venture inside, that's the time to list your home!

Think your home is ready?  I would be happy to take a look and let you know how your entrance will look to potential buyers!
